I keep coming back

I feel like Tina to your Ike, but I’m still listening, even after the way you treated me. I love you, baby.

The direct 20%

ScottSimpson, always mention you “heard on NPR that…” It’s credible and difficult to track. If it wasn’t on “All Things Considered,” then maybe it was “Morning Edition.”

Thanks

That’s sound advice!

That Hepburn-speak

Is called Mid-Atlantic English. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mid-Atlantic_English

(ok, maybe you get to that, but I’m only partway through the podcast & sitting in front of wikipedia, so… there ya go)

Better get my speedos, cause there is hot soup

Thanks for another quality show/podcast/netcast whatever, it was funny as usual. Heard it while laying in bed, sadly i woke up my wife cause i had to laugh, lucky for me she didn’t mind it.

And by the way do any body here know what radio stream Merlin was talking about? cause i want to listen to that old vintage weirdness too.

It was posted on their

You, my good sir

The 20s radio announcer voice will never cease to amuse me.

My god, I can’t stop listening to the last 16 seconds.

The wait was almost worth it.

Who am I kidding, it was totally worth it. I’ve always thought that the old timey radio person was great. Bring back old timey speak in movies and tv, that’s what I say.

Old timey radio voice

Great to hear you guys again. I love old-time radio streams, too.

she been gone

Never have I been so nostalgic for Kelly Clarkson.

Real modern Old Timey band

In case you actually want real modern old-timey music, I thought I’d direct you to The Scarring Party. They classify themselves as “End-Timey” music, that 1920s crooner sound mixed with a post-revelatory vision.

what joe knows

“whadayaknowjoe” (with old timey sound effects) has been my mantra at work for the last few weeks. i work at a pre-school. imagine these 2 foot minions spreading the message across the city…possibly beyond. the dawning of a new age of baby butlers.

Inspired?

Did you three inspire this?
